Joshua W. Liberman
Joshua Liberman, founder of Veripayments, works closely with Veripayments investor and borrowing clients. For almost 20 years, he has been in the financial services and real estate development sectors focusing on private lending. Prior to Veripayments, he held Vice-President positions with Tri City Mortgage Fund and Bancorp Financial Services Inc., the latter of which managed portfolios in excess of $550 million in assets. His lending experience spans all areas of real estate including office, mixed-use, multi-family, complex high-end residential, land assembly, development, interim, debt restructuring, debtor-in-possession, multi-faceted portfolios, portfolio purchases/negotiation (properties and loans), industrial, and various commercial.
Prior to his work with mortgage fund companies, Joshua owned and managed a successful commercial and residential mortgage brokerage company while leading a private lending syndicate that produced above-market, consistent returns from 1992 to 2001.
Throughout his career, Joshua has participated in numerous real estate projects as investor, partner, builder, and developer. His real estate interests have also included developing modular construction efficiencies to benefit his developments, resulting in quicker build times, higher quality products, lower costs, limited waste, and increased returns. Continuous education and broad experience in real estate and lending have led him to complete comprehensive coursework in real estate appraisal, notes and contracts, syndication, and real estate and foreclosure law, as well as various lending studies.
